Morse Super-Duty Kontrol-Karrier lift, rotate and control drum pouring at or above your reach

Morse Super-Duty below-hook drum carrier enables drum pouring at or above your reach. You control drum tilting 360 in either direction. Dispense drum contents with your hoist or crane. Even lift and invert your drum with drum faucet in place.

This Super-Duty drum carrier has a pull chain to control the drum tilt with a 150:1 worm gear speed reducer and "Super-Duty" rating.

Model 185XGR - Super-Duty Below-Hook Drum Carrier with 2500 Lb. (1134 kg) capacity.

Model 185XMGR adds spark resistant parts to reduce the possibility of mechanical sparks.

Capacity:

• 2500 Lb. (1134 kg) Full 55-gallon steel drum (208 liter steel drum)
• 1250 Lb. (454 kg) Half-full drum* 55-gallon steel drum (208 liter steel drum)

Every Morse Below-Hook Drum handler is load tested at the factory as per American National Standard ASME B30.20 and a load test certificate is enclosed with each unit.

Option: Diameter Adaptor for 19" (48.3 cm) Diameter Drum

Model 185XGR accepts Diameter Adaptor model 55/30-19GR for a 19" (48.3 cm) diameter drum. The Diameter Adaptor simply lifts in and out of the drum holder, so you can handle a 55-gallon (208 liter) or a 30-gallon (113 liter) steel drum with the same unit.

Option: Counterweight

Option # 451-P - Counterweight to level the Kontrol-Karrier when suspended from hook, with or without a drum in the holder.

Half-Full Drum Rating

* Half-Full Drum Rating is an indication of capacity for tilting unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. Partially full drum with unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than full drum.

IMPORTANT - It is critical to use the correct holder and accessory to lift your drum type and dimensions.

These below-hook drum lifters comply with ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following:

• Rated load markings and unit identification
• Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components
• Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D14.1 welding qualification test
