Forklift attachment with battery power tilt to move and pour a drum. Converts your fork truck into a drum handler. Battery Power Tilt control decreases effort, while increasing productivity. Available with Wireless Tilt Control Option.

Forklift Attachment with battery power tilt

Model 285A-BP forklift attachment provides 180 degree battery powered controlled tilt to fully invert your drum in 15 seconds. The 10 foot (3 m) long pendant reaches to the forklift operator, and has two push buttons to tilt the drum forward and back.

The tilt function is powered by a rechargeable 12V deep cycle battery. Battery and charger are provided with the forklift attachment. The drum holder has cinch chain and ratchet tightener to secure the drum in the holder.

The Bracket Assembly is required to safely handle any rimless drum. . . plastic, steel or fiber. It adjusts for drums 31" to 39" (79 to 99 cm) tall.

 The Bracket Assembly option is also recommended to more securely handle your fiber or cardboard drum.

Note: The Bracket Assembly can be left in place to handle a rimmed drum.

*Half-Full Drum Rating of forklift attachments is an indication of the capacity for tilting an unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. A partially full drum with an unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than a full drum, and places more stress on the gearing of forklift attachments.
